Ivy And Bean

This book was fun because the characters try to be spies! I got inspired by the time they tried to be a witch, that was so cool. There were so many silly parts, I laughed a lot.

Loose Tooth

I like this book because there are characters that try to help each other. I want to loose my teeth one day, so this book makes me excited for that. I am also glad I didn’t need my parents help to read all the words on this book. I think this book makes me feel ready for kindergarten.

I wish that this book had more llamas than alpacas, but it doesn’t. I liked my daddy reading this book to me before bed because it made me feel sleepy, but it also made me want pizza.

I liked this book because it’s got ideas to get people interested in reading books. I wish the book had more scenery, but I liked the blue mountains.

Wilmington, NC local!

Pineapple Street

The book reads like a Reddit AITA post, since I read those all the time it was right up my alley. It’s very much a story of rich people problems, but its deeper meaning becomes more apparent at the end when the characters more explicitly think about the effect money has had on their lives.

The Benevolent Society Of Ill-mannered Ladies
by Alison Goodman

The author clearly did a ton of research on the time period. The main character feels anachronistic. I would love to see more involvement in the social issues of the period, if she’s going to be this progressive in thought. The romance is a bit meh - I’m more intrigued with her relationship with her brother. It feels like there’s a lot going on there. Granted this is book one in the series so all of that may be coming in later books.
