Me And My Cat?
by Satoshi Kitamura

My child says it was funny because the boy turned into a cat and was able to feel what it’s like to be a cat. Then the ending is a twist that makes the book really fun!

The Ambrose Deception

This book was interesting and witty. It took the perspectives of three very similar and very different characters and allowed the reader to get familiar with them. Its puzzles draw the readers in and fascinate them. This mystery novel was not up to the standards of The Mysterious Benedict Society or the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, but it was still an entertaining read.

I loved the illustrations in this book. This is definitely a great bedtime book to read.

Llama Unleashes The Alpacalypse

I wish that this book had more llamas than alpacas, but it doesn’t. I liked my daddy reading this book to me before bed because it made me feel sleepy, but it also made me want pizza.

Ivy And Bean

This book was fun because the characters try to be spies! I got inspired by the time they tried to be a witch, that was so cool. There were so many silly parts, I laughed a lot.

Great imagination book

The Benevolent Society Of Ill-mannered Ladies

The author clearly did a ton of research on the time period. The main character feels anachronistic. I would love to see more involvement in the social issues of the period, if she’s going to be this progressive in thought. The romance is a bit meh - I’m more intrigued with her relationship with her brother. It feels like there’s a lot going on there. Granted this is book one in the series so all of that may be coming in later books.

Cat Kid Comic Club 02: Perspectives

I liked this book because it was funny. I feel like this book put me in a silly and goofy mood. The characters said really unexpected things and the illustrations also were surprisingly silly. There was a character that was embarrassed and I related to that.
